<Midland Highway>

At Corner Store Merchants, I’d like to exhibit new works created after moving back to Australia. I’ve been presenting works mostly in Korea and a large number of works are still in Korea. As of May 2023, It has been exactly 1 year since I moved to Castlemaine, and this new environment has impacted my way of seeing things a lot. I’m currently working on new paintings, slightly different to what I used to create but still using similar patterns and colours. The title <Midland Highway> is also from the name of a major highway linking central Victoria, which I always drive through to go to nearby towns of Castlemaine. Still transiting between Korea and Australia, Castlemaine and Melbourne, the Midland Highway is where I’m standing at the moment.
